WLEB Presents: Nutrient Management Project Directory

Tuesday, January 27, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EST)

Description

Lake Erie is under threat from rising levels of nutrient pollution, leading to harmful algal blooms that endanger the region’s ecosystem, recreation, and clean drinking water. Across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, dozens of organizations are working hard to solve this problem, but their efforts are often scattered and siloed.

Join us for an interactive webinar showcasing the new Western Lake Erie Basin Nutrient Reduction Database, developed by Dow Sustainability Fellows in partnership with the University of Michigan Water Center and the WLEB Community Advisory Group. This innovative, publicly-accessible tool is designed to unite a diverse coalition of government, nonprofits, community groups, and local businesses in the fight for nutrient reduction.
