Leelanau Conservation District Presents: American Tree Farm System Field Day

Join Leelanau CD for an American Tree Farm System (ATFS) field day focusing on sustainable forest management and the various sustainability standards that come with enrolling in the American Tree Farm System. They will be visiting the land of a retired forester and local Benzie landowner to get a first-hand look at how managing your forest with long term sustainability in mind can impact a landscape. This is an outdoor event- please wear appropriate attire for the weather. Please also bring a water bottle and comfortable hiking shoes. There will be restroom facilities available most of the event, as well as light refreshments.
