DESCRIPTION:The Hillsdale County Nutrient Management Field Day is hosted at Stoney Ridge Farms near Waldron\, MI in the heart of the Western Lake Erie Basin (WLEB) watershed. A collaborative partnership between the Hillsdale County Farm Bureau and Hillsdale Conservation District\, this annual event is held on the third Thursday in August and offers farmers and guests a day of hands-on agricultural education. This field day also boasts a local farm to fork lunch\, MAEAP Phase 1 Educational Credit\, and continuing educational credits for CCA's and RUP license holders.
